Wine from Limburgian Seabed.... sounds strange for a continental area, but in the south of both Dutch and Flemish Limburg, we have an underground of 'mergel', chalk-sandstone, that used to be...shallow tropical seabed. A long long time ago. But in these layers of 'mergel', fossils of oyster, pulpo etc still can be seen. An, more importantly, the effect on the wine quality and potential is enormous!
Versatile, complex yet accessible wine.
