Limburg is an emerging and exciting cool-climate wine region, split up in a few AOC/ DOC's, of which the most important one is now Haspengouw. Focus is on sparkling and white, but there is also some interesting reds and rose's, and ciders. Not very suprisingly, as the area is a leading apple- and peargrowing soil.
